In this hands-on silk screen workshop, you’ll learn the basics of screen printing using a small, reusable riso screen featuring your own design. Print it onto a T-shirt or tote bag, play with ink, and leave with something that’s bold, practical, and uniquely you.

Perfect for beginners who enjoy making, experimenting, and creating together.

Dress Requirements: wear old warm clothes and bring an apron!

Participants will print on a T shirt they bring to the session. Requirements will be sent to you nearer to the time.

Your host: Jackie Harris, one of our members (& previous Chair)  has been printing her own designs for many years and will be sharing her experience and giving you practical skills.

Note: This workshop uses ready-made screens. We won’t be covering photo-emulsion screen making, but we’ll explore more accessible screen printing techniques and talk through other options, and explore the many applications of silks screens.
