THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT  Members only event  For those who missed our popular event "healing piece by piece: the art of mosaic" held during mental health week - this is your opportunity  to experiment with mosaic in a small group (up to 6 pax - mosaic intro) . In parallel, it is also an opportunity for another small group (4 pax - mosaic project ) to take their journey futher through doing a project of your own choosing using equipment we recently secured. Our member, Helen Foley, has created mosaics for many years and enjoys working on pieces that celebrate her grandchildren.  Discover how the ancient art of mosaic—assembling broken pieces into something beautiful—can quieten the mind and learn how art can be a powerful tool for mindfulness and self-expression.   Time. 12:30-16:30 Wed 3rd dec  Place Earthwise   For mosaic intro - just bring yourself in clothes to do crafty work For mosaic project - bring a project (eg. a sketch, a base (if you have one), & any tiles/crockery you may want to use) Secure your ticket quickly to as we expect the event to sold out quickly  - Registration essential

Discover the joy of turning wood into art with the scroll saw — a tool that combines precision and creativity. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to safely use a scroll saw, practice cutting techniques, and design your own project to take home.  Unsure what a scroll saw is? To all Subiaco Women Shed members .. Next Sunday morning 9th November will be the annual Mosman Park Men Shed Craft Market. The "Shed" is being opened for BUSY BEE PROJECT WORK  leading to the Mosman Park Men's Shed Craft Market on Sunday 9th November.  Time & Place : Weddnesday 5th Oct  9am-1pm (host George/Pica), Earthwisse Come & join us  to make some items that we can display/sell at the markets to showcase your creativity and skills of the Subiaco Women's Shed. (If you cannot make it the whole time that is ok too you can be part of the production line) If you have already attended the introduction to woodworking, this is your opportunity to replicate the best designs  (and practise your skills). If you have not attended the intro to woodworking, you can bring your own craft activity (that does not require power tools) and/or you can also come to help.  Book your ticket as spots are limited. Please wear enclosed shoes for this event. Let's come together to do some BUSY WORK !
