Then you can choose from a range of topics that interest you, including: online safety and scams, accessing government services, online banking, editing and sharing photos, listening to podcasts, email, video calls, AI ... and more. Facilitators will be on hand to support you and you can learn at your own pace. Learning modules only take a few mins to complete. After 45 minutes, we’ll break for coffee, and then you’re welcome to continue learning with us at Earthwise or explore further at home. Hello Ladies, Members only event Carbatec, the Home of Woodworking, has kindly offered to run a series of workshops . Limited FREE tickets available so please register if you want to attend. This is a great opportunity if you are interested in starting/continuing on the woodworking journey or simply if you want to look at the various tools (that will make their way to our shed in the future). The 1st of the series: Kreg Joining-Pocket Joining An insight into how pocket joining can provide a quick and strong way to join wood to create frameworks, workbenches and other form of furniture. Members will be introduced to the different jigs and the application including screwing selection and clamping methods.  Talk Duration - 45 mins - All equipment provided. This will be followed by a quick tour of the tools (on exhibit) and what the tools be used for and of course  a chat over a cup of tea/coffee/buiscuit. Format: Talk/Demo & opportunity to have a go for those who want (TBC) Please note venue is in Balcatta. If you need transport, please contact hello@subiws.org.au so that car pooling can be organised.
